Propagation Studies

A propagation study is an graphical estimate of the probable coverage of a radio system.

Contour Studies

A contour study is computer model of service areas and interference areas.  Used as a very (very) rough idea of which systems will cause interference to each other.  Often used in licensing by coordinators and the FCC.

Interference Studies

A TSB-88 interference study is a detailed propagation study that shows the level and location of interference between two radio system, based on the standards of TSB-88.
